“Money was allocated in the last budget with the aim of holding the provincial council election. However, it was then that, as you all know, Cyclone Ditwah arrived. Therefore, while the money allocated for the budget remained as it is, we had to allocate Rs. 500 billion for Ditwah. And so, that was the money set aside to hold the election. Therefore, we will not be able to hold the election this year. “
